Welcome to the Ashburton Directory Welcome to the second in a chain of State Highway One Business directories covering the centre of the South Island of New Zealand. Our first online business directory was established in Timaru in 2006. When we started the first online business directory in Timaru we wanted to provide a service to the businesses in the towns of Ashburton, Temuka, Timaru and Oamaru. These are the main towns that service the rural communities along state highway one between Christchurch and Dunedin. We want our business directories to provide the communication links that will foster trade between these towns and cities. We also wanted each town to have their own individual website with a link to all the local websites. To do this we have secured the online domain name of directory.co.nz and these link to our business directories that we are building in Christchurch, Ashburton, Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin. Our task now is to build each website so that businesses can be found in their individual business categories. BUSINESS PROMOTIONSDuring our promotional work of building a business directory for each of the State Highway One Cities and Towns we stop and spend some time with our new business clients to find out a little bit more about them and what services they offer. Keep watching this space because this provides a link to their stories and the place where our clients work and live.
